CAD Modelling
Concepts turned into machinable 3D, with Design for Manufacturing baked in from the first solid.
Velfen is a turn-key engineering partner for mechatronic hardware — five-axis CNC milling, rapid prototypes and small-batch production under one roof. Hand off the engineering. Keep the vision.
From the first DFM sketch to the final inspection report, every stage of a mechatronic product happens in-house — so nothing is lost in translation between design, prototype and series.
Concepts turned into machinable 3D, with Design for Manufacturing baked in from the first solid.
Functional prototypes that let you test and validate in real-world conditions — reducing risk long before large-scale production.
Bridge the gap from prototype to production. 10–2 000 units, traced to the billet, inspected to the print.
From small-batch to series. We tune cycle time, fixturing and cost — without giving back tolerance.
At Velfen, quality isn't a checkpoint — it's the process. Close collaboration from initial design through final inspection, with on-machine touch probing on every critical feature.
Our flagship machining centre. Five-axis simultaneous movement, on-machine touch probing, swarf-free workholding.
A deliberate four-stage handover — engineered so the first part off the machine is the part you designed on the screen.
Our in-house flagshipØ500 × 500 · 300 kg
You share the intent; we audit the geometry for tolerancing, material, stack-up and cost-to-make. Output: a DFM report, not a quote email.
First-article parts on the real machine, real material. Functional testing on our bench, or shipped to yours the next day.
10 to 2 000 units with on-machine touch probing and first-article inspection on every lot. Full traceability to the billet.
We hand off to series production — or keep running and tune cycle time, fixturing and cost with your team.
Velfen OÜ machines precision parts in its own workshop at Nuia tn 2, Tallinn (Lasnamäe), on a DMU 50 five-axis CNC machining centre. We make everything from one-off prototypes to small batches of 10–2 000 units, for customers across Estonia and the EU. Email hello@velfen.com or call +372 6006070.
Yes. Prototypes are made on the real machine, from the real material, so you can test them straight away. Small-batch runs cover 10–2 000 units, with first-article inspection on every lot and full traceability to the billet.
Yes. We machine spare and replacement parts for industrial machines and equipment, as one-offs or in small batches. Send a drawing or CAD model. If you only have the worn original, send photos and its main dimensions and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Critical features are typically held to ±0.001 mm and checked with on-machine touch probing. Surface finishes go down to Ra 0.4 µm. Exact values depend on the part, material and geometry, so we confirm them in the DFM review.
Send us a STEP file, a drawing or even a sketch. We reply with a DFM review, a timeline and a fixed price, usually within 48 hours.
Yes. Request an NDA and we'll send a mutual or one-way agreement for digital signature, or review your own template, before you share any confidential files.
Yes. We work with mechatronic and engineering teams across the Baltics, the Nordics, the DACH region and the rest of the European Union.
Send us a STEP file, a sketch or a Tuesday-evening idea. We'll come back with a DFM review, a timeline and a fixed price — usually within 48 hours.
